Job Description
The Cost Controller supports the successful delivery of ongoing projects in Indonesia by monitoring costs, supporting budget control, and helping the efficient project execution
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Budget management: Develop and maintain detailed cost control plans, set up cost breakdown structures, and allocate budgets/resources
- Cost analysis: Collect and analyze financial data, track variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Forecasting: Prepare accurate financial forecasts and update them regularly to reflect project progress
- Reporting: Generate internal cost reports, reconcile project costs with accounting records, and present findings to management
- Compliance: Review subcontractor invoices, validate change orders, and ensure adherence to financial regulations
- Risk management: Perform cost risk analysis, define contingency reserves, and contribute to project risk assessments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth cost control processes
Qualifications
Qualification: (minimum)
- Education: Degree in Engineering.
Experience, skills, and knowledge:
- Minimum 3-5 years in cost control.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, and cost accounting principles, able to operate Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred.
- Project control/planning experience: prior exposure to project control or project planning is highly preferred, as it strengthens budgeting and scheduling alignment
