Job Description

PT Medco Ratch Power Riau (MRPR), is one of subsidiary of Medco Power Indonesia (MPI) based in Pekanbaru, Riau, is looking for professionals with the following qualifications:

Job Description :

  1. Monitor and control expenditures against approved budgets across departments or projects to ensure cost efficiency and enable early detection of overruns.
  2. Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop detailed cost projections, cash flow forecasts, and updated budget scenarios.
  3. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, identify variances from budget or forecast, and provide actionable insights to support management's strategic decision-making.
  4. Maintain cost control systems to ensure accurate, real-time data capture, coding, and classification of expenses in line with company standards.
  5. Coordinate with Procurement and Project teams to validate contractor/vendor invoices, unit rates, and contract payment terms against work progress and cost benchmarks
  6. Prepare generate periodic (weekly/monthly) cost control reports and dashboards for internal management and external stakeholders, highlighting financial health and risk areas
  7. Ensure Compliance with Financial Policies and Standards with internal financial policies, IFRS/local GAAP, tax considerations, and audit requirements.

Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial planning, ideally within the energy, power generation, or power plant industries.
  3. Proven experience in managing cost tracking across multiple projects or departments, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  4. Familiar with procurement and contract processes, including validation of vendor invoices, payment schedules, and cost benchmarking.
  5. Exposure to ERP and cost management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera) and ability to interpret cost performance indicators (e.g., CPI, SPI).
  6. Experience collaborating with finance, engineering, project, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with company policies and external regulations.
