About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Cost Control & Administration Supervisor to support our Mazda Assembly manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost efficiency, financial accuracy, and smooth administrative processes within the plant.
You will work closely with production, finance, and procurement teams to monitor cost performance and maintain strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs (material, labor, overhead)
- Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to management
- Prepare monthly cost reports, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure accurate recording of production-related financial transactions
- Oversee plant administrative functions and documentation control
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams for cost optimization
- Support internal and external audits
- Improve cost control systems and processes for better efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 46 years of experience in cost control / costing / finance within automotive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing (BOM, standard costing, variance analysis)
- Experience in assembly plant operations is highly preferred
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
Preferred Candidate
- From automotive manufacturing (OEM / assembly plant) background
- Familiar with production flow & cost structure in car manufacturing
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
