Lumi Films is searching for Freelance Video Editors to expand our post-production capabilities in our client work. This is a freelance position.
The Freelance Video Editor will be responsible for editing videos for projects comprising of interviews, soundbites, and b-roll. The ideal candidate(s) should be experienced with working on client projects with a regular timeline for Lumi Films to engage.
Responsibilities
- Create impactful and captivating videos for brand identity, marketing and entertainment, with clear understanding of storytelling through editing.
- Make revisions based on comments from clients.
- Able to handle quick turnover for revisions
Requirements
- Experienced candidates with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in corporate/documentary video editing
- Good knowledge of editing on Adobe Premiere Pro, working with log files, and basic sound leveling.
- Able to tell a story through soundbites (interview/narration) and b-roll based on key messages and briefs.
- Willingness and flexibility to learn and adapt to Lumi Films's post-production style and standards
- Candidates with no significant production experience can also apply and send in their portfolio
