Job Description
PT Masmindo Dwi Area | Awak Mas Gold Project, South Sulawesi
PT Masmindo Dwi Area is building the Awak Mas Gold Project, an open-pit gold mine moving through construction toward first gold. We are looking for a Corporate Strategy Specialist to keep business objectives and operational priorities pointed at the same long-term target.
You will do the analytical work behind the strategy: the models, the market reads, and the performance tracking that management decides from.
What you will do
- Support the preparation of corporate strategic plans, business plans, and the KPI framework behind them.
- Monitor performance against targets, and surface the gaps early enough to act on.
- Run market, industry, and gold price analysis, and translate it into implications for the business.
- Build the financial models and business cases supporting investment proposals and growth options.
- Prepare the reports, dashboards, and management papers behind performance reviews and strategic initiatives.
- Work across departments to turn operational data into a picture management can decide from.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mining, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years in corporate strategy, business planning, business performance management, or corporate development, ideally in mining, resources, or heavy industry.
- Strong financial modeling and business analysis skills, with the judgment to know which numbers matter.
- Analytical rigor, and the ability to turn messy operational data into a clear recommendation.
- Confidence engaging stakeholders across functions and at senior level.
- Clear writing and presentation skills, for an audience that reads fast.
- Based at our office in Bintaro, with travel to site in South Sulawesi as required.
An advantage: experience supporting a project through the transition from construction into production, exposure to life-of-mine economics and NPV analysis, and familiarity with reporting to lenders or shareholders.
