Open Position: Corporate Legal Specialist

About the Role

As a Corporate Legal Specialist, you will provide legal support and protection for all corporate lending activities, including bilateral loans, syndicated loans, and structured/project finance, to ensure that the Bank's interests are safeguarded from a legal, regulatory, and commercial perspective.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct legal review and provide legal advisory on Term Sheets, Credit Proposals (Legal Aspects), financing structures, and security arrangements.
2. Draft and/or review Facility Agreements, Intercreditor Agreements, and Security Documents (including Mortgage (HT), Fiduciary, Cessie, Share Pledge, and other security instruments).
3. Ensure that all credit documentation is legally valid, binding, enforceable, and compliant with applicable regulations and the Bank's internal policies.
4. Actively participate in negotiations with Borrowers, syndicate member banks, and external law firms.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law from an accredited university (Master's Degree in Business Law / Banking Law is an added advantage).
2. Minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale).
3. Possession of an Advocate License (PERADI) is an added advantage.
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Legal, Banking Legal, Corporate and Syndicated Credit Documentation.
5. Preferably with experience working in a reputable Law Firm, Private Bank, or Foreign Bank in Indonesia.
6. Active proficiency in English (written and spoken).
7. Strong business communication and negotiation skills.
