Corporate Legal Manager

Bank Sahabat Sampoerna is looking for Corporate Legal Manager who will be responsible for the following:

- Oversee corporate legal matters.

- Escalate any concerns regarding legal and regulatory matters.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the legal and regulatory aspects of transactions are properly addressed.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate legal risks.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and advise the business accordingly.

- Assist in the review and negotiation of complex legal documentation, ensuring the bank's interests are protected.

- Ensure the bank's compliance with Indonesian data protection laws and regulatory requirements (including UUPDP, OJK, and BI regulations).

For this role, we will need someone who:

- Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university.

- 5 years of work experience in corporate legal, preferably in the banking or financial services industry in Indonesia (experience at a law firm handling banking or financial services clients can be considered).

- Strong understanding of Indonesian legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to banking, finance, data protection, and compliance.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal guidance and manage complex legal issues.

- Demonstrated ability to lead team members.
