Responsible for delivering in-depth analytical insights and supporting high-quality service to drive effective business strategy, operational excellence, and risk mitigation within Corporate Banking. The role focuses on data-driven analysis, performance monitoring, and supporting strategic initiatives without direct people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Support the development and implementation of business strategies aligned with the Bank's targets, operational plans, and budgeting process.
- Conduct continuous review of policies and procedures to support effective implementation and enhance productivity and service quality.
- Identify opportunities for value creation through data analysis (internal & external) and market/competitor scanning.
- Support the development of frameworks and tools to measure RM productivity and individual performance to drive achievement of financial targets and manpower planning.
- Assist in developing pipeline management frameworks and tools to monitor loan drawdown realization and pipeline progress.
- Support the execution of reward/recognition programs and internal communication strategies for business initiatives and campaigns.
Business Performance & Management
- Monitor and analyze loan pipeline (realization, cancellation, delay) to identify insights and improvement areas.
- Provide projection analysis based on pipeline performance to support management in tracking gaps vs targets.
- Deliver market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Support budget monitoring and utilization tracking for the business unit.
- Prepare monthly performance reports with strong financial analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and manage comprehensive financial and performance databases to support portfolio monitoring and strategic initiatives.
- Support risk management monitoring, particularly operational risk awareness and adherence to policies/procedures.
- Monitor fulfillment of covenants, documentation requirements, and ensure proper credit file management in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure strong coordination with internal stakeholders (including Legal, Credit, Operations) to support smooth transaction processing and client servicing.
- Contribute to maintaining service quality and strong relationships with internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Business Strategy, MIS, or Performance Management.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and translate into actionable insights.
- Experience in preparing management reports, financial analysis, and business performance monitoring.
- Good understanding of corporate banking products (loan, trade, cash, etc.) and processes.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline management concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; experience with data tools/dashboarding is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
