Job Description

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and manage public relations and corporate branding programs aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Monitor relevant legislation, policies, and industry developments, and work with the Reputation Risk and Compliance team to assess potential business impact.
  • Lead proactive and reactive corporate communications programs for SPX Express.
  • Plan and execute events, campaigns, and initiatives that support corporate branding and proactive communications objectives.
  • Anticipate, manage, and mitigate potential issues and crises arising from business and operational initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage external issues, including negative sentiment or risks emerging from social media and other public channels.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business and operations stakeholders across SPX Express.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related role.
  • Ability to identify potential issues or impactful events and support appropriate mitigation and recovery actions.
  • Experience in developing and executing proactive corporate communications programs.
  • Proactive mindset with strong ownership, commitment, and the ability to deliver creative solutions and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with agility to respond to changing market and business needs.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build consensus among various stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, detail-oriented, results-driven, motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.
