Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Framework Development: Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance the Continuous Improvement (CI) framework to drive the successful implementation of operational mechanisms.

2. Project Governance: Oversee and manage the CI project pipeline, taking full ownership of project sourcing, evaluation, business case initialization, and end-to-end progress tracking.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives, effectively coordinating resources across departments to ensure successful project delivery.

4. Production Efficiency: Lead production efficiency enhancement initiatives, focusing on line balancing, quick changeover (SMED), and downtime reduction.

5. Quality & Shop-Floor Optimization: Champion shop-floor improvement projects aimed at reducing scrap rates, increasing manufacturing yield rates, and optimizing operational workflows.

6. CI Culture & Capability Building: Promote CI training programs, develop internal talent, and actively foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) or higher, preferably majoring in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma tools, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), line balancing, and root-cause analysis.

4. Project Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing successful projects related to productivity enhancement, cost reduction/optimization, and yield rate improvement.

5. Core Competency (High Priority): Exceptional logical reasoning and highly structured, organized thinking. Proven ability to analyze complex operational data and synthesize issues into clear, methodical, and actionable frameworks.

6. Communication: Excellent cross-departmental coordination skills with a good command of English, both verbal and written, to collaborate in a diverse workspace.
