Job Description
GTMLab is a growth consultancy. We help businesses across Southeast Asia solve their hardest growth problems and turn the answers into measurable results.
We've grown from a small founding team to 100+ people and worked with 500+ clients, from local SMEs to regional enterprises. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast, which means we answer to our clients and our standards, not to investors.
We work the way the best consulting firms do: start with the business problem, not the deliverable. Our job is to figure out what's really holding a company back, build the case for what to do about it, and stay close enough to see it through.
What You'll Do
As a Content Writer Intern, you'll be behind the words that get our brands found. You'll write long-form SEO articles that rank, inform, and convert, working closely with our SEO team to turn search strategy into content people actually want to read.
You won't be stuck on one niche. Our brands operate in completely different industries, each with its own audience, voice, and goals, so you'll learn to switch perspectives quickly and write with depth for each one. You'll also learn to use AI the way the best writers do: to research faster, structure smarter, and draft more efficiently, while bringing the judgment, accuracy, and human voice that AI can't.
We understand that paid ads bring traffic, but great organic content keeps working long after it's published, building visibility and trust that compound over time. You'll learn how the two work together, and why the content you write becomes one of a brand's most durable growth assets.
We're looking for someone who could grow into a writer we'd trust with any brief, and we'll invest in getting you there.
Your Responsibilities
- Write across industries. Research and write long-form articles across multiple industries and writing styles.
- Write to rank, and to be read. Work with our SEO team to craft content that performs in search without losing its human touch.
- Own the research. Dig into unfamiliar topics, verify sources, and turn complex information into something clear and useful.
- Use AI with judgment. Use AI tools to speed up research, outlining, and drafting, then bring the fact-checking, nuance, and voice that make the piece worth reading.
- Write for the audience. Shift tone, voice, and style to match who you're writing for and what they need.
- Write bilingually. Produce content in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, depending on the audience.
- Raise the bar. Take feedback through our review and editing process and apply it fast, so every article meets our standard before it goes live.
What You'll Bring
- Final-year students or fresh graduates in Journalism, Literature, Communications, or Marketing are preferred, but graduates from all other backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- A portfolio of writing samples that show your best work, whether published or personal.
- Strong English writing. Grammar, structure, and clarity come naturally to you.
- A natural researcher who enjoys making sense of unfamiliar topics.
- Able to adapt your writing style across different industries and audiences.
- Curious about AI tools and how to use them well, not as a shortcut but as leverage.
- Self-directed and accountable. You own your deadlines without being chased.
- Eager to be coached hard and improve fast.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Able to work onsite at our office in Menteng, Central Jakarta.
You'll start by writing under close guidance, learning how we research, structure, and optimize. As you build skill and trust, you'll take on more: harder topics, more complex pieces, and more ownership over the content itself.
