Role Overview
As the Content Marketing Lead, you will own how Pluang gets found, read, and trusted across every content surface — from Google AI Overview to different LLMs, from our blog to our media partnerships. Editor by instinct, executor by necessity — the kind of person who will rewrite the contents if they're not good enough, then turn around and brief the very next batch.
Responsibilities:
SEO / AEO / GEO Content Production Oversight
- Own the delivery of Pluang's content strategy across organic search (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), and generative engine optimization (GEO)
- Define and maintain topic cluster architecture — the backbone of Pluang's content ecosystem
- Set editorial calendar and direction while working closely with Growth and Data Analytics; lead the execution together with the Content Marketing Associate and Investment Research
- Supervise production quality to ensure all output meets Pluang's editorial and accuracy standards
Content Standards & Editorial Quality
- Serve as the guardian of the Pluang Content Bible: content standards, tone of voice, and editorial quality across all brand channels
- Review and greenlight high-stakes content before publication
- Act as the strategic intermediary between Platforms, Investment Research, Growth, and Data Analytics — translating internal knowledge into content-ready insight
Paid Article & Organic Content Programs
- Set the quality bar for Pluang's Paid Article and Organic Content programs
- Brief, review and provide sharp, actionable feedback on outputs
- Own the results of these programs together with Growth and Data Analytics even when execution is delegated
Media Partnership Content Strategy
- Work closely with the Brand, Media & PR Lead to shape the content strategy component of media partnerships
- Ensure any content deals are editorially coherent, on-brand, and strategically sound
Requirements:
- Background: You have built your career in content marketing, digital publishing, or editorial — and you bring demonstrable SEO/AEO/GEO technical writing skills alongside that. You know how to write a brief, edit a draft, and architect a content ecosystem. Bonus if you have a background or strong genuine interest in financial content or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of AEO & GEO is non-negotiable. AI-driven search is reshaping how financial content gets discovered, and this role needs to be ahead of that curve — not catching up to it
- Up to 9 years in content marketing, digital publishing, or editorial
- You're not foreign to Ahrefs to scrape keyword data and insights
- Ability to own and enforce editorial standards across a content team and external partners
- Experience acting as a content strategist across multiple stakeholders with competing priorit
