What You Will Do in WeTV

• Have a firm understanding of the nuances of mass Indonesian audiences and the type of content that resonates with these audiences.
• Scout and spot unique story ideas, and have strong relationships with local studios and producers.
• Guide producers to achieve WeTV brief for strong and producible proposals.
• Evaluate stories, characters, and plots in proposals provided by studios.
• Conduct presentations and storytelling for internal greenlight pitches.
• Run an effective and efficient writers room during the pre-production stage and ensure the quality of the story is of the highest standards.
• Run script reading sessions with production and cast members
• Give high-quality, constructive, crucial notes to influence stories to achieve the best quality scripts.
• Involve in every stage of the writing and production process, working with production, and keeping a strong handle on the outcome of the stories.
• Provide feedback and in-depth script analysis on screenplays.
• Run brainstorm sessions to create our own unique WeTV original ideas.

What We Would Like to See in You

• A minimum of 3 years of TV/OTT/Cinema scriptwriting experience that encompasses a wide range of genres.
• Great command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal.
• Scripted writing experience is an absolute must.
• Be involved in every stage of each production to ensure the vision of the script is captured.
• Creative, open-minded, team player with people skills enjoys working in a close-knit team.
