Job Description
As a Data Management and Analytics Business Unit Lead, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead the overall strategy, vision, and growth agenda for the organization's data and analytics function, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities and shaping service offerings and gotomarket approaches.
- Build and maintain seniorlevel client relationships, translating business challenges into effective datadriven solutions and overseeing highquality project delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of data professionals while managing resource planning, performance, and capability-building initiatives.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement by staying current with emerging trends in analytics, data governance, cloud technologies, and AI.
- Represent the data and analytics function in leadership forums and external events, contributing thought leadership where appropriate.
- Ensure strong operational management through KPI tracking, quality governance, compliance, budgeting, and financial oversight.
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in IT consulting, including at least 5 years in a leadership position within data, analytics, or digital transformation functions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams (30+ professionals) and deliver complex data-focused projects.
- Strong expertise in data platforms, data governance, analytics solutions, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work with senior business leaders.
- Proven capability in business development and project management.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (such as Japanese) are considered an advantage.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP) are highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure
