Consultant

The Consultant is responsible for ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient processing of Indonesian claim documents by leading document review, annotation, extraction validation, and team capability development across local Indonesia and India DP operations.

This role acts as the bridge between operations, product, and AI enablement, ensuring that document classification, OCR extraction quality, and benefit mapping support both operational accuracy and higher Straight-Through Processing (STP).

The Consultant will play a critical role in:

• improving processing quality and turnaround time,
• strengthening handwritten medical document interpretation,
• developing AI-assisted document training capabilities,
• and translating operational gaps into actionable product and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities and Success Metrics

A. Lead DIB / Document AI Training and Annotation Operations

Own the end-to-end execution of document training activities in DIB, including annotation design, prompt optimization, extraction validation, and continuous model-improvement feedback for Indonesian claim documents.

Key activities

• Define and supervise annotation standards for Indonesian claim documents
• Guide the team on how to write effective prompts for AI/OCR extraction improvement
• Ensure accurate labeling of document type, fields, and medical context
• Review recurring extraction failures and convert them into training opportunities
• Coordinate with product/AI teams on retraining priorities

Suggested metrics

• Annotation accuracy: % of audited annotations meeting quality standard during go live
• Target example: ≥ 85%

B. Support Interpretation of Handwritten and Complex Claim Documents

Provide subject matter support to DP teams in reading and interpreting difficult handwritten Indonesian medical documents, including diagnosis, symptoms, doctor notes, and other clinically relevant claim content.

Key activities

• Act as escalation point for difficult handwritten or low-quality documents
• Build reference guidelines for diagnosis, symptom, and common medical handwriting patterns
• Standardize interpretation of ambiguous Indonesian claim document content
• Support quality review for medically sensitive extraction fields

Suggested metrics

• Handwriting interpretation accuracy: % of escalated handwritten cases validated as correct
• Escalation resolution turnaround time: average time to resolve complex cases

English Proficiency will be an added advantage.
