Scope of Work for External Collaborator: Annual Report 2025 Production
BACKGROUND
The Strategic Communications Unit operates under the Business Development Department and plays a key role in strengthening the organization's visibility, brand presence, and stakeholder engagement through clear and impactful communication strategies. To support the production of the organization's Annual Report, the Strategic Communications Unit is seeking an Annual Report Production team on a short-term. This role will be responsible for translating, designing and laying out the full Annual Report, ensuring alignment with the organization's visual identity and communication goals.
OBJECTIVES
To translate (english to bahasa), design, create illustration and layout the organization's Annual Report from concept to final approval, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed. The contract period is set for one month, but the working timeline may extend beyond the contract for the purpose of finalizing approvals.
Responsibilities
- Translate the annual report draft from English to Bahasa Indonesia.
- Transproof the annual report draft both in English version and Bahasa version.
- Concept development and visual theme for the Annual Report layout.
- Complete layout of the Annual Report, including cover design, internal pages, infographics, tables, charts, and illustration.
- Incorporation of branding elements consistent with organizational guidelines.
- Iterative revisions based on internal feedback until final approval.
- Final delivery in print-ready and web-optimized formats.
Requirements
- Proven experience in translating documents.
- Proven experience in designing and laying out annual reports or similar long form publications.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail, layout design, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to manage feedback constructively and meet tight deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required.
- Previous experience in the nonprofit or humanitarian sector is an advantage.
