Role Overview
The Construction Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all construction activities on site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities and supervision teams.
- Ensure project objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule are consistently achieved.
- Act as the primary point of contact on site for contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, compare actual vs planned performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including shop drawings, material submissions, and inspection/test results.
- Coordinate and align activities among contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proper utilization and compliance of materials, equipment, and resources with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to the Project Manager and/or senior management.
- Oversee site administration, including documentation, instructions, and project communication.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in handling camp construction projects in remote site areas (e.g., mining, oil & gas, or remote industrial operations).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and HSE standards.
- Experience in managing multiple contractors and stakeholders in challenging site conditions.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Operate in alignment with the Construction Management Plan and company procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Ensure all site personnel understand roles, responsibilities, and safety requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction execution and site management practices.
