Key Responsibilities
- Support in developing and executing the risk-based Compliance Assurance Plan as part of the Annual Compliance Plan.
- Lead risk-based compliance assurance reviews across corporate functions and business activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Prudential requirements, and Group standards.
- Conduct compliance monitoring activities, including documentation review, issue identification, action plan development, and remediation tracking with management.
- Prepare and deliver timely compliance assurance reports for effective management oversight.
- Lead Compliance Attestation activities, including control assessments against local regulatory requirements, risk-based sampling, and Group Compliance Standard (GCS) Attestation to support GCS Certification.
- Perform assurance and quality reviews on Conflict of Interest (CoI) and Personal Account (PA) Dealing policies, including escalation of potential issues.
- Support ad-hoc compliance initiatives and deliver CoI awareness and training programs in line with the Compliance Training Plan.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or Accounting from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal/external audit or compliance/quality assurance, preferably within a multinational company.
- Preferably experienced in the life insurance industry or other financial institutions, with a solid understanding of insurance business processes and regulations.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented; experience in data analytics or statistics is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
