Job Purpose
To ensure competitive and compliant employee compensation and benefits by managing payroll, insurance, BPJS, and other benefits for local and expatriate staff. This role supports the school's goals by delivering efficient, equitable benefit programs and assisting expatriates with relocation needs.
Job Summary
The Compensation & Benefit Specialist is responsible for managing employee compensation, benefits, and expatriate formalities. This role ensures that all compensation-related processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and expatriate management, comply with legal and school standards.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries and allowances.
Manage all payroll-related data, including tax calculations (PPh 21/26), deductions, and benefits.
Ensure payroll data confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and school policies.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, BPJS, personal loan, and other welfare programs.
Monitor market trends to recommend competitive compensation adjustments.
Conduct salary reviews and collaborate with HR Manager and Management for approvals.
Contract Management
Review and administer employee contracts, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws and internal policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records for all employees.
Coordinate contract renewals and amendments in a timely manner.
Expatriate Compensation & Benefits
Manage expatriate compensation packages, including housing allowances, schooling for children, and family-related benefits.
Ensure expatriate benefits are competitive and comply with tax regulations and local laws.
Tax Compliance
Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to employee salaries, expatriate tax filings, and other compensation matters.
Prepare tax documentation for expatriates and ensure correct tax calculations for all employees.
Reporting & Documentation
Generate payroll, benefits, and compensation reports for HR Manager, Management, and the finance department.
Maintain accurate documentation for all compensation, benefits, and expatriate formalities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Economics (Accounting), Human Resources or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits administration, and expatriate management.
Demonstrated Expertise In Compensation And Benefits Strategy And Administration.
Familiarity with current tax regulations (Coretax), including PPh 21/26 compliance.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in HR-related software and payroll systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot).
Certification in compensation and benefits management is a beneficial asset.
