We are looking for a passionate and empathetic Community Specialist to foster, grow, and manage our online community. In this role, you will be the heart of our WhatsApp community—driving daily engagement, organizing exciting events, and building meaningful relationships with our members to create a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging, relevant, and high-quality content and activities specifically tailored for our WhatsApp groups
- Facilitate discussions and interactions among community members to cultivate a supportive and lively environment
- Provide continuous support, encouragement, and motivation to members based on their needs
- Plan, organize, and execute regular community events (e.g., Facebook Live, webinars, quizzes) in collaboration with the Social Media team
- Manage community loyalty programs and the Community Ambassador initiative
- Identify and document inspiring member success stories to be used as testimonial content by the Digital team
- Monitor and analyze key community performance metrics, focusing on participation and engagement rates
- Compile and present regular reports regarding community activities and health on WhatsApp
- Provide data-driven recommendations to continuously improve the effectiveness of community programs
- Maintain an organized, accurate, and up-to-date community member database
- Develop and schedule community activity calendars that align with member needs and company goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (S1), preferably majoring in Nutrition or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing online communities, with a strong focus on the WhatsApp platform
- Experience in providing nutrition counseling or having a solid foundational knowledge of nutrition is a huge plus
- Proficient in managing WhatsApp communities and using supporting tools such as Google Sheets and Canva
- Proven ability to craft highly engaging and interactive content for online communities
- Strong capability in analyzing engagement metrics and generating insightful periodic reports
- Experienced in managing and organizing member databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinker when designing community activities
- Natural ability to build and maintain positive relationships with community members
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology and behavior
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly empathetic
- Deeply committed to creating a positive impact within the community
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with excellent time-management skills
