Community Manager (Freelance/Project Based)

Hacktiv8 is seeking a Community Manager (Freelance/Project Based) who will lead engagement and communication activities across multiple university communities for Google Workspace for Education programs. This role focuses on managing large-scale community operations, maintaining participant engagement, coordinating community initiatives, supervising community admins, and ensuring smooth day-to-day execution across all assigned communities.

Employment status: 6 months freelance

Working arrangement: Hybrid (2 WFO & 3 WFH)

Office Location: Pondok Indah, South Jakarta

Responsibilities:

• Manage engagement activities across multiple university communities for Google Workspace for Education programs
• Maintain active communication with participants through digital community channels
• Coordinate and supervise community admins to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Support the execution of online campaigns, engagement activities, and university activations
• Monitor community engagement performance and participation progress
• Manage participant tracking, operational reporting, and activity recap documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to align communication and engagement strategies
• Provide insights and feedback from communities to support campaign improvements

Requirements:

• Experience managing online communities, engagement programs, or youth/university communities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to manage multiple communities and operational tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting skills
• Comfortable using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• Experience supervising small operational or admin teams is a plus
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
