Job Description

Communications & Content Associate (Southeast Asia)

Company Description

Sentio is a Southeast Asian leadership lab and leadership gym dedicated to building emotional, relational, and somatic intelligence in leaders navigating hypergrowth, climate disruption, AI advances, and uncertainty.

We work with values-driven founders, CXOs, and changemakers who want to scale organizations and their impact without burning out and losing their humanity. Our flagship leadership gym integrates Stanford-inspired T-Group (Interpersonal Dynamics), nervous-system-based practices, and real-world leadership challenges in a high-trust, cohort-based learning journey.

Rooted in Southeast Asia, Sentio blends rigorous inquiry with nervous-system-aware, emotion- and relationship-centred practice to help leaders deepen self-awareness, scale with integrity, and grow their impact sustainably.

You will be the guardian of Sentio's voice and a key partner to the founder and the COO. Your work will turn nuanced ideas about leadership, emotional intelligence, relationship intelligence, and the nervous system into clear, grounded storytelling across our core channels (LinkedIn, website, decks, email, and event communications/offline marketing).

This is a hands-on role: part writer, part content producer, part light-touch marketer. You'll help shape how Sentio is perceived by founders, executives, changemakers, and ecosystem partners across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Storytelling

  • Draft, edit, and repurpose content in the founder's voice (LinkedIn posts, essays, newsletters, and website updates).
  • Translate program and curriculum ideas into clear one-pagers, slide copy, and FAQs for participants, sponsors, and partners.
  • Support creation of case studies, testimonials, and simple impact stories from pilots and coaching work.

Program & Community Communication

  • Craft invitations, follow-up emails, and info packs for salons, discovery calls, and Sentio's pilot cohorts.
  • Maintain warm, consistent communication with applicants, alumni, and close-in communities (e.g. via email, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, etc.).

Brand & Messaging Stewardship

  • Ensure consistency of tone, language, and visual messaging across all touchpoints (site, decks, social, PDFs).
  • Help maintain a light content calendar aligned with key milestones (pilot launch, announcement posts, events).

(Light) Media & Partner Relations

  • Support outreach to aligned platforms (podcasts, newsletters, communities, conferences) and prepare simple media/partner kits.
  • Draft talking points, short bios, and briefing notes for the founder's speaking engagements and interviews.

Systems & Operations (Comms-related)

  • Keep content assets organised (Notion/Google Drive, etc.) and help track basic metrics (opens, clicks, engagement) to learn what resonates.

Qualifications

  • 25 years of experience in communications, content, marketing, or related rolesideally in startups, leadership development, education, or social impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit exceptionally well in English: clear, grounded, human; comfortable with long-form and short-form.
  • Strength in storytelling and positioningyou can take complex, emotionally nuanced ideas and make them accessible without dumbing them down.
  • Comfort working in a small, early-stage environment: proactive, resourceful, able to move from strategy to execution quickly.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including managing multiple threads and stakeholders at once.
  • Familiarity with (or curiosity about) Southeast Asian cultural contexts and/or leadership, coaching, or inner-work spaces.
  • Based in or willing to spend meaningful time in Bali, Indonesia for in-person collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field is a plusbut not a deal-breaker if experience is strong.
