Job Summary:
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
We are seeking a results-driven Commodity Analyst – Indirect to support the execution of indirect sourcing activities, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives. This role focuses on data analysis, RFQ execution, and supplier coordination, enabling efficient procurement operations and supporting category strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend categories
- Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers
- Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers
- Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, finance) to clarify requirements
- Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives
- Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or materials planning
• Experience in data analysis, RFQ handling, and supplier coordination
• Knowledge of indirect procurement or manufacturing environment preferred
