Commis Pastry

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our pastry team as a Commis Pastry. The Commis Pastry will assist our experienced pastry chefs in preparing and presenting a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pastry techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a pastry kitchen or bakery preferred.
• Knowledge of basic pastry techniques, including mixing, baking, and decorating.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
