About this Position

The Commercial Quality Associate supports the Commercial Quality team in maintaining vendor quality standards and ensuring compliance with agreed product specifications. This role will be involved in vendor and facility assessments, PSA and Spec Book development, vendor quality tracking, data analysis, and follow-up on quality issues.

The role requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and analytical skills to support the team in identifying quality gaps, resolving vendor issues, and maintaining accurate quality documentation and data.

Job Description

As our Astronaut, your missions are:

  • Support vendor facility visits and quality assessments, including documenting findings and following up on improvement actions with vendors.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Product Specification Agreements (PSA) and Spec Books, ensuring product specifications, grading, sourcing/origin, and quality requirements are properly documented.
  • Support vendor quality scoring, performance tracking, and data analysis, including mapping and preparing quality data to provide insights for the team.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving vendor quality issues, including coordinating with relevant teams and supporting corrective actions or penalties for vendors that do not comply with agreed standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to follow up on quality findings, improvement actions, and day-to-day quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking across the vendor quality process, including audit findings, vendor performance, corrective actions, and PSA/Spec Book records.

Job Requirements

In order to launch the missions successfully, you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, or a related field, with a good understanding of product quality standards.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Quality, QA/QC, or related functions. Experience in FMCG, fresh, or frozen products is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of quality assessment, product specifications, and vendor quality processes. Experience with PSA or Spec Book is a plus.
  • Strong data analysis and data mapping skills, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data to support decision-making.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Google Workspace and comfortable working with documentation and data tracking.
  • Fast-paced, responsive, detail-oriented, and able to make quick decisions and handle day-to-day problem solving.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with multiple internal teams and external vendors.
