This role involves operating and maintaining commercial hatchery equipment at our Lengkong facility to ensure efficient and high-quality chick production, adhering to all operational and safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Operate and monitor all hatchery equipment, including incubators, hatchers, and ventilation systems, according to established procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Perform egg setting, transfer, and chick pulling processes accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the hatchery, such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels, and make necessary adjustments.
- Record production data, equipment performance, and any observed anomalies.
- Adhere strictly to biosecurity protocols and hygiene standards within the hatchery.
- Assist in the cleaning and sanitation of hatchery equipment and facilities.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, production issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize hatchery operations and achieve production targets.
- Participate in training programs to enhance operational skills and knowledge.
Job Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining machinery, preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
- Basic understanding of hatchery operations and poultry farming principles is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Familiarity with basic safety procedures and a commitment to workplace safety.
