Coding Part-Time Teacher

We are hiring part-time offline coding teachers for a coding school in Surabaya (Sukomanunggal), East Java, Indonesia. We are looking for teachers to work with Junior (ages 5-7), Kids (ages 8-11), and Teens (ages 12-18) levels.

• Priority will be given to candidates who are available to teach on WEEKDAYS (Monday-Friday).

Teachers for Junior and Kids:

Professional programming skills are not required. The curriculum will be more like logic and computer concepts using platforms like Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. Training will be provided for advanced materials. Candidates should be comfortable engaging young children and understanding their needs.

Teachers for Teens:

Basic coding knowledge, particularly in Python & JavaScript, is required. Casual teaching experience is accepted since special training will be provided to understand our teaching style.

University students are welcome to apply for this position.

Responsibility:

- Teach programming skills to Junior, Kids, or Teens levels.

- Show compassion and support toward young learners.

- Regularly report teaching results and student progress.

- Collaborate with the team to improve teaching quality.

Competency:

- Basic Computer Literacy and awareness of technology updates.

- Innovative and Inspirational teaching style for Junior/Kids/Teens Teachers.

- Basic Python and/or JavaScript Programming Language for Teens Teachers.

- IT, Education, or Private Teaching backgrounds are preferred.

- Strong communication skills to work in a team.

- Discipline, Responsibility, and a Mindset to code the student's future with IT education.
