Role Description
The Club Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surakarta, responsible for overseeing daily operations of Grand Onyx Solo Paragon and ensuring an excellent member experience. This position manages staff schedules, supervises coaches and instructors, and coordinates program timetables across gym floor operations, fitness classes, personal training, HYROX training, and children's programs (swimming, dance, yoga). The Club Manager handles member inquiries, registrations, and feedback, and ensures that facilities, gym equipment, and safety standards are consistently maintained to a professional standard. This role also includes monitoring club performance and KPIs, supporting marketing and member outreach initiatives (including HYROX community building), managing budgets and reporting, and fostering a positive, high-performance environment for members and team members alike.
Qualifications
• Operational management skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, and facility oversight
• Customer service and communication skills to build strong relationships with members, parents, and partners
• Basic administrative and financial skills, such as record-keeping, budgeting, and reporting
• Experience in fitness, gym, sports, or wellness environments, with an understanding of both group training and functional/strength training and safety practices
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn HYROX and functional fitness training concepts
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams (coaches, trainers, instructors) in a fast-paced, member-focused setting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfort with using digital tools for scheduling, membership management, and internal communication
• Relevant education or training in sports science, fitness management, hospitality, business, or a related field is beneficial
