Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with business needs and continuous monitoring of deployed solutions to maintain optimal operation are also key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud solutions with organizational goals.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools in cloud environments.
