Perform the physical installation and removal of IT equipment, including servers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, racks, and cabling.
Execute cable routing, cable dressing, and equipment labeling in accordance with Data Center standards.
Perform hardware replacement and provide first-level troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
Monitor the health and performance of infrastructure hardware, virtualization platforms, and supporting systems.
Respond to hardware and software incidents and restore services within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Execute infrastructure changes, including hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and configuration modifications based on approved change requests.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including basic commands, service management, log analysis, and file navigation.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, switching, IP addressing, and structured cabling.
Familiarity with server hardware and out-of-band management tools such as BMC, iDRAC, iLO, or IPMI.
Experience with structured cabling and rack cable management.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willing to work on-site and follow production support shift schedules.
Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP/RH-OVE), or other container-based platforms.
Experience or exposure to GPU-based server infrastructure.
