Install and maintain IT equipment, including servers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, racks, and structured cabling.
Perform rack & stack activities, cable routing, cable dressing, and equipment labeling in accordance with Data Center standards.
Conduct hardware replacement and perform basic troubleshooting for infrastructure components.
Monitor server, hypervisor, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Prometheus/Grafana, and respond to alerts based on operational procedures.
Manage incident and service request tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or vendors.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams during implementation and incident handling.
Maintain accurate documentation, including rack elevation diagrams, asset inventory, and infrastructure configuration records.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and change management processes.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Support, or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with the installation of servers, switches, firewalls, storage systems, and structured cabling.
Good understanding of rack & stack activities, cable management, labeling, and asset documentation.
Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems.
Basic knowledge of networking, server hardware, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with hypervisors such as VMware ESXi, Proxmox, KVM, or OpenStack.
Experience using infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Prometheus/Grafana.
Basic understanding of storage technologies (NAS/SAN), including LUN/volume provisioning, mounting, and troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of Cisco networking, including switch/router configuration, VLAN setup, and troubleshooting using Cisco IOS.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willing to work on-site and support maintenance activities outside regular business hours when required.
