Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Client Business Development (Account Executive) role based in South Jakarta, Indonesia. The Client Business Development (Account Executive) is responsible for managing and growing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring successful execution of Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing activities. The role acts as a strategic liaison between the agency and multinational FMCG clients, ensuring that campaigns are delivered effectively while achieving both client objectives and agency revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same role (Account Executive, Client Service, Business Development, or Account Management) within a BTL Agency, Activation Agency, Field Marketing Agency, or Integrated Marketing Agency.
- Proven experience handling multinational FMCG clients.
- Strong understanding of BTL marketing activities, including: Retail activation, Brand activation, Merchandising, Trade marketing programs, Event management, Promoter and field force management.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving revenue growth and maintaining key client accounts.
- Excellent client servicing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business development and commercial acumen.
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop proposals and strategic recommendations.
- Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing regional or national FMCG activation projects.
- Existing network within multinational FMCG companies is an advantage.
- Experience working with platforms and reporting systems related to field force management and retail execution.
- Ability to lead client discussions independently and influence decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned multinational FMCG clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Understand client business objectives, brand strategies, and marketing priorities.
- Provide strategic recommendations and solutions to support client growth and campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance discussions with clients.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and commercial offers for clients.
- Lead negotiations on project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets through account expansion and new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Project & Campaign Management
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of BTL campaigns, including activations, merchandising, retail programs, events, promoter management, and trade marketing initiatives.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budget management.
- Ensure campaign execution meets client expectations, quality standards, and agreed KPIs.
- Manage issue resolution and provide proactive solutions during campaign implementation.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Prepare campaign briefs and ensure alignment between client requirements and operational execution.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to clients.
- Develop post-campaign reports, presentations, and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Support annual business planning and forecasting activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Recruitment, Finance, Creative, and Project Management teams.
- Ensure effective communication across departments to deliver exceptional client service.
- Support resource planning and allocation based on project requirements.
