About The Role
Claim Planning & Strategy responsible to cleaning, structuring, and validating claim data, tracking claims KPIs and performance trends, identifying risks or anomalies within claim patterns, and recommending solutions to improve claim efficiency and savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and standardization for claim datasets
- Maintain and update claim KPI dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze claim trends to detect over-utilization, risk signals, or potential cost leakages
- Support the development of claim saving strategies and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (Claim Ops, Provider Relations, Product, Pricing, Underwriting) to ensure alignment
- Prepare analytical summaries and insights for management review
- Assist in ad-hoc data projects and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or other quantitative fields (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with large datasets and conducting detailed analysis
- Solid proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with Power BI / SQL / Python is a plus
- Ability to communicate insights clearly in English (written & verbal)
- Attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and willingness to learn
