We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support large capital projects at the site office during Detail Engineering Design, Construction/Erection, and Commissioning phases. The role provides civil engineering and project management expertise and reports to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide civil engineering leadership throughout all project phases.
- Review, coordinate, and approve civil engineering deliverables from consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering resources to meet project deliverables.
- Ensure all civil works comply with approved designs, standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Take responsibility for key civil design decisions, procedures, and selection criteria.
- Monitor and report deviations related to scope, cost, and schedule.
- Conduct site inspections, investigations, and data analysis to ensure construction quality and safety.
- Develop owner-side scope of work, particularly for site preparation activities.
- Support project reporting related to cost, schedule, and milestone achievements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies when required to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 57 years experience in project execution.
- Experience as Project Civil Engineer with site construction exposure (Oil & Gas or Chemical Plant preferred).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and basic project management.
- Project control experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work under a contract-based employment.
