Apical is looking for Civil Engineering (Project Based).
In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Design Development: Establish the design basis for civil facilities and lead the creation of comprehensive detail designs.
- Technical Review: Perform thorough reviews of detail designs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Structural Analysis: Conduct precise structural calculations for both reinforced concrete and steel structures, including foundation design.
- Estimation & Documentation: Develop and review Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Tender Support: Prepare and conduct technical evaluations for tender processes.
- Project Oversight: Monitor project progress by reviewing contractors daily and weekly reports to ensure alignment with design specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engineering and construction.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
- Technical Expertise: Strong capability in structural calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, and various foundation types.
- Location:Willingness to be based in Balikpapan.
- Contract Type: Ready to work on a Project-Based (Contract) arrangement.
