Job Description

• Deliver engaging and effective Mandarin lessons for elementary-level students and adult learners.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive learning activities based on the assigned curriculum.
• Foster students Mandarin language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Integrate Chinese culture into classroom learning to enhance students cultural understanding.
• Monitor and assess students learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, supportive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Utilize digital teaching platforms and educational technology to support effective learning.
• Participate in teacher development programs, academic meetings, and institutional activities.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mandarin Language Education, Chinese Language Education, or a related field.
• Minimum HSK Level 4 certification or equivalent Mandarin proficiency.
• Knowledge of Chinese culture and the ability to integrate cultural understanding into teaching.
• Passionate about teaching students from diverse age groups, including elementary students and adult learners.
• Proficient in using Zoom, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive, Canva, and other digital teaching tools.
• Disciplined, creative, and able to create engaging learning experiences.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to join for the Academic Year 2026/2027 starting in June/July.
• Willing to working on-site in Yogyakarta.
