Chinese Teacher

Australian Intercultural School, located in Batam, Indonesia, is the first and only institution in the country offering the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline for Kindergarten to Year 10 and the Australian High School Diploma (WACE program for Year 11 and 12). Established in 2018, the school caters to nearly 400 students and is supported by a team of over 30 educators. Operating under the guidance of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) of Western Australia's government, the school is committed to delivering high-quality education.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese Teacher, based in Batam, Indonesia. Responsibilities include designing and implementing lesson plans, teaching Chinese language classes, fostering language acquisition skills, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The Chinese Teacher is expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with fellow educators to ensure curriculum alignment and overall student development.

• Strong skills in Chinese Teaching and Education
• Ability to create effective Lesson Plans along with expertise in Teaching methodologies
• Outstanding Communication skills for facilitating student learning and collaboration
• Proficiency in instructing students across diverse age groups and levels
• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field
• Experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is an advantage
• Passion for education and fostering cultural understanding
