Role Description

This is a part-time, remote position for a Chinese/Mandarin Teacher. The role involves planning and conducting engaging Chinese/Mandarin language lessons tailored to the needs of students, ranging from beginners to advanced learners. Responsibilities include creating resources, assessing progress, and using effective teaching methodologies to help students achieve language proficiency. Collaboration with other educators and providing consistent feedback is also a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Chinese Teaching and strong command of the Chinese/Mandarin language
• Skills in Lesson Planning and adapting materials for learners needs
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge and experience in Education and Teaching practices
• Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and platforms
• Teaching certification or a degree in Chinese language, linguistics, or education is preferred
