Define, own, and execute the company's multi-year technology roadmap aligned with aggressive business growth and market opportunities.
Evaluate and champion emerging technologies—specifically cloud-native architectures, advanced AI/ML, and next-gen fintech infrastructure.
Act as the technical voice in the boardroom, effectively communicating complex architectural and technology decisions to investors, board members, and executive peers.
Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers, AI model vendors, and vital fintech infrastructure players (Open Banking APIs, core banking, and payment rails).
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered fintech features, including intelligent underwriting, fraud detection, conversational banking, and agentic workflows.
Drive the foundational AI strategy: making critical build vs. buy vs. fine-tune decisions across LLMs, ML models, and data pipelines.
Establish responsible and ethical AI practices, ensuring fairness, explainability, and auditability in accordance with regulatory mandates.
Own foundational product architecture decisions (microservices vs. modular monolith, API-first design, event-driven systems).
Partner closely with the CPO/Product team to seamlessly translate product strategy into robust engineering execution.
Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class engineering and data science team (Full-stack, Platform, AI/ML, DevOps, and Security).
Required Qualifications
10+ years of total experience in software engineering or technology roles, with at least 5+ years in senior engineering leadership (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Engineering).
Fintech Domain Expertise: Hands-on background in at least one core fintech domain (Lending, Payments, Wealth Management, Insurance, or BaaS).
AI/ML Track Record: Proven experience shipping and scaling AI/ML-powered products live in production.
SaaS Architecture: Deep understanding of multi-tenancy, API platforms, subscription billing, and B2B product development.
