Job Summary
Waterbom Bali is looking for a proactive and experienced Chief Security to lead and oversee all security operations across the park. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company property through effective security management, risk prevention, emergency preparedness, and team leadership.
Job Description
- Lead, manage, and supervise the Security Team to ensure effective daily security operations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, SOPs, and preventive measures.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop appropriate mitigation and prevention strategies.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of security, safety, fire prevention, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor security operations throughout the park and ensure all critical areas are regularly inspected.
- Lead the Security Team in responding to incidents, emergencies, and other security-related situations.
- Take appropriate initial action to resolve incidents and escalate significant matters to the General Manager when required.
- Plan and manage security manpower, duty rosters, deployment, and operational coverage.
- Conduct regular coaching, training, briefing, and performance evaluations for Security Supervisors and team members.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and professional standards within the Security Team.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports regarding security operations, incidents, personnel performance, and recommendations to Management.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure effective safety and security operations across the park.
- Maintain professional relationships and coordination with external authorities, including Police, Military, local community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
- Identify and address potential security threats, unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and other risks within the park.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive security information and operational matters.
- Provide recommendations to Management to continuously strengthen the park's security systems and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure all security activities comply with applicable laws, company policies, and park regulations.
- Perform other duties and special assignments as required by the General Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
- Possess relevant security certifications (Gada Utama)
- Experience in risk management, crisis management, and emergency response.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety and security plans and procedures.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Good understanding of local laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in safety and security systems and technologies
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and report preparation.
