Location Overview

Join our team in Amankila. Claiming a breathtaking stretch of coastline on the Lombok Strait, Amankila rests on a lush hillside beneath sacred Mount Agung. Connected by frangipani-lined walkways through the treetops, stilted suites offer spectacular views high on the hillside, while a three-tier infinity pool cascades at the property's heart and the Beach Club leads to a private black-sand beach.

Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chief Security, to join Amankila in Manggis, Karangasem, Bali! Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the daily Security operations within resort.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all security staff, ensuring that they adhere to Aman's Brand Promises and Seva standards, always maintaining professionalism and discipline.
  • Conduct regular training for security personnel, focusing on emergency response, safety procedures, and FSMS protocols were relevant.
  • Ensure the security and safety of all hotel guests, staff, and assets, responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, such as the police, in case of thefts, robberies, or other emergencies affecting guests or the resort.
  • Monitor the execution of health, safety, and security programs and report findings to the General Manager.
  • Take immediate action in the case of hazardous situations, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
  • Work closely with the engineering department to ensure that emergency equipment, such as fire alarms and extinguishers, is maintained and ready for use.
  • Serve as the fire captain, ensuring the proper implementation of fire safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Chief Security, preferably in a luxury resort.
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in police department or related field is preferred.
  • Written and fluent in English.
  • Familiar with IT, CCTV systems, fire panels, patrolling software and water safety protocols.
  • Understanding IEDs, VBIEDS and active shooters.
  • Foundational knowledge conducts a formal investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with local authorities and peers.
  • Able to reach 24/7 for emergencies and crises.
