The Chief of Staff is a mission-critical leadership role that directly amplifies the effectiveness of the CEO. This role requires a strategic operator who brings strong analytical thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to orchestrate cross-functional execution across a rapidly scaling organization. You will serve as the CEO's strategic partner and execution engine, translating vision into action, aligning leadership teams, and ensuring the company operates with clarity, discipline, and rigor. This position is ideal for someone with management consulting experience (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture) or someone who has helped build a fast-paced startup from the ground up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning & Executive Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO by bringing structured thinking and strategic clarity.
- Prioritize, structure, and translate high-level strategies into actionable plans.
- Prepare board decks, investor updates, strategic briefs, and CEO-level communication.
2. Operational Alignment & Execution Oversight
- Drive execution across cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor company's KPIs, follow through on leadership commitments, and enforce accountability.
- Identify bottlenecks and help teams solve issues with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach.
3. Leadership Coordination & Management
- Serve as the coordination bridge across senior leaders to align priorities, resources, and decision-making.
- Facilitate weekly leadership meetings, set agendas, and track follow-through.
- Build a high-trust, no-politics, performance-driven culture across the organization.
4. Organizational Effectiveness & Process Building
- Design and implement core internal systems such as OKRs, project tracking tools, and execution dashboards.
- Strengthen SOPs and operational processes to support scale.
- Shape organization-wide rhythms of planning, reporting, and continuous improvement.
5. Business & Financial Insight
- Support high-priority analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure strong budget discipline and visibility (while the controller role will be hired separately).
- Lead analytical deep dives and business cases for CEO decision-making.
6. Data & Analytics Leadership
- Build the company's core data framework and serve as the data brain of the organization.
- Design and oversee a unified company dashboard for real-time performance visibility.
- Partner with the CEO to integrate analytics into strategy, forecasting, and execution.
- Coordinate with tech/data teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
Experience
- 35 years of professional experience, ideally in consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, etc), or experience in helping build and scale teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated excellence in strategy, operations, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong numeracycomfortable overseeing finance, KPIs, budgets, and business cases.
- Experience with data and analytics, dashboards, or data infrastructure.
- Agribusiness, agriculture, sustainability, supply chain, or FMCG exposure is a plus (not a deal-breaker).
- Proven ability to manage performance, lead through influence, and work in high-ambiguity environments.

Salary: IDR 15,000,000 25,000,000 per month (based on experience)
