As we expand our impact and grow globally, we are seeking an experienced and values-aligned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and help steward the school's financial vision with clarity, stability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the school's mission and growth objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments (online courses, retreats, teacher training programs, etc.).
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external compliance.
- Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage day-to-day cash flow and advise on capital allocation to ensure the school's long-term viability.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax compliance, and non-profit or for-profit laws (as applicable).
- Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as a key member of the leadership team; communicate financial goals in a way that supports a conscious, purpose-driven culture.
- Systems & Tools: Optimize accounting systems, billing processes, and financial tracking tools for efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or similar leadership role (ideally in education, wellness, or nonprofit sectors).
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting, compliance, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with financial management tools (e.g., Xero).
- Passion for wellness, mindfulness, and/or yoga is a plus.
