They are moving past the scrappy startup phase and need a true financial co-pilot to help them build structure, protect their margins, and unlock their next phase of growth.
What You Will Do
- Drive Strategy: Look closely at the numbers to find growth opportunities, protect margins, and challenge the team on product profitability.
- Secure Growth Capital: Take the lead on finding and negotiating the best terms for debt financing and AR factoring with banks and financial institutions.
- Build Structure: Analyze high-volume retail transactions and design simpler, faster processes so the company can scale smoothly.
- Investor Relations: Partner directly with the CEO to manage relationships with investors and map out future funding strategy.
- Lead the Team: Guide and mentor the established 5-person finance and accounting team.
Who You Are
- The Strategic Generalist: You likely started in management consulting or investment banking, but moved into an in-house Corporate Strategy role where you loved executing ideas, not just advising.
- A Strong Negotiator: You have a bold, confident commercial personality. You don't just accept standard terms from banks—you push back to get the best deal.
- Retail or FMCG Experience: You understand high-volume transactions, inventory costing, and retail data (FMCG, F&B, or E-commerce experience is a huge plus).
