Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's finance function and support its growth strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, corporate finance, compliance, and risk management while serving as a key business partner to the executive leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy and long-term financial plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business and investment decisions.

Financial Planning & Performance

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor business performance, profitability, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.

Accounting, Tax & Compliance

  • Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage external audits and maintain strong internal controls.

Treasury & Corporate Finance

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities.
  • Lead debt financing, fundraising, and capital management initiatives.
  • Conduct financial modeling, investment analysis, and business case evaluations.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and financial risk mitigation across the organization.

Operational Finance & Transformation

  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to improve business performance and cost efficiency.
  • Support expansion initiatives, inventory optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Lead finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation and process enhancements.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Build a high-performance culture and strengthen organizational capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years finance leadership role
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end finance functions, including financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, corporate finance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience working in multinational, publicly listed, private equity-backed, or fast-growing organizations is preferred.
  • Industry exposure within Manufacturing, Automotive, EV, Industrial, FMCG, Technology, or other operationally intensive sectors will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, corporate finance, internal controls, and governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, debt financing, banking relationships, and investment evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong business partnering capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively across commercial and operational functions.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
  • Mandarin proficiency would be considered an advantage due to regional and cross-border stakeholder interactions.
