We are currently strengthening operational structure and accountability at Eminence Lembang Resort and are looking for a hands-on Chief Engineer capable of delivering fast execution, strong maintenance systems, and operational discipline.

Role Overview 

We are hiring a strong operational Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and maintenance operations at Eminence Lembang Resort.

This is not a passive maintenance role. 

We are looking for a leader who is visible on the ground, moves fast, solves problems directly, and can rebuild structure and accountability within the department.

Candidates must demonstrate measurable operational improvements and proven hotel engineering leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities 

• Full ownership of hotel engineering and maintenance operations 

• Ensure all guest rooms and operational facilities remain fully functional 

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs 

• Manage engineering response time and operational follow-up 

• Lead and manage engineering team performance and accountability 

• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Operations teams 

• Monitor work orders, maintenance trackers, and engineering reporting systems 

• Manage contractors and external technical vendors 

• Maintain operational safety and maintenance standards across the property 

Non-Negotiable Requirements (KPI-Based) 

Candidates must provide measurable operational results from previous roles, including: 

• Preventive maintenance completion rates 

• Reduction of guest complaints related to engineering issues 

• Response time improvements 

• Room defect reduction 

• Operational cost control initiatives 

• Team productivity and accountability improvements 

Applications without measurable operational achievements will not be prioritized.

Qualifications 

• Minimum 5 years experience as Chief Engineer in hospitality 

• Strong understanding of hotel engineering operations and preventive maintenance 

• Experience managing resort or hotel properties preferred 

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, MEP systems, and guest room maintenance 

• Hands-on operational mindset with fast execution capability 

• Strong leadership and accountability mentality 

• Experience implementing SOPs, reporting systems, and maintenance trackers 

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency preferred
