Chief Accounting & Tax

Job Description

• Lead and oversee the company's accounting and tax functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Supervise the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and other accounting reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage tax compliance, including tax calculations, preparation and submission of tax returns, and timely tax payments in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company's financial and tax obligations.
• Coordinate tax audits, tax assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities, as well as support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure the implementation of effective accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the accounting and tax team to ensure efficient and accurate execution of daily operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial analysis, budgeting, and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and taxation practices.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work accurately under deadlines.
• Willing to be placed in Bogor.
• Willing to work on weekends and national public holidays as required by operational needs.
• Tax Brevet certification is an advantage
