Role Description The Chief Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based at Pakons Prime Hotel Tangerang in Tangerang City. This role oversees all hotel financial operations, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. The Chief Accountant monitors cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, and ensures timely and accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and payroll. Daily responsibilities include supervising the finance team, reviewing reconciliations and financial documents, coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and supporting management with financial analysis for strategic decisions. The role also involves implementing internal controls, optimizing financial processes, and collaborating with other departments to maintain accurate financial data and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, hotel management systems, and MS Office applications, especially Excel for financial analysis.
- Experience in managing general ledgers, tax reporting, audits, and compliance with local financial regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to supervise finance staff, delegate tasks, and maintain effective team collaboration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with hotel management and other departments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or finance role, ideally within hotels or hospitality organizations.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and adherence to ethical financial practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Tangerang and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
