Role Description

This full-time, on-site Chief Accountant role is located in Samarinda. The Chief Accountant will oversee all financial functions, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating the accounting team, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, conducting audits, and providing financial advice to improve operational efficiency. The role will also involve working closely with management to support the financial strategy and ensure fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards
• Experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and conducting financial audits
• Proven leadership and team management skills to supervise the accounting department effectively
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with excellent knowledge of Excel and financial systems
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus)
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
