Job Summary**
Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of live chicks for PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, specifically within the HC PNKLN LADA region. This role ensures timely delivery while maintaining animal welfare standards.
Job Responsibilities**
- Operate company vehicles (vans) to transport live chicks from hatcheries to various farms and designated locations within the HC PNKLN LADA area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload chicks carefully, adhering to animal welfare protocols and company guidelines to minimize stress and injury.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, times, and destinations.
- Communicate effectively with farm personnel and dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly to supervision.
Job Qualifications**
- Valid Class B driving license (SIM B) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably with livestock or perishable goods, is an advantage.
- Good understanding of animal welfare principles, particularly concerning poultry.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., chick boxes) as required.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict schedules.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to withstand varying weather conditions.
- Resides within or near the HC PNKLN LADA region is preferred.
